How do I set up my file for custom stickers?
Upload your design and leave a comment indicating cutlines, or use design software like Adobe Illustrator to set cutlines. Our team will optimize your files for printing.
Setting Up Files for Custom Sticker Cuts
To set up your file for custom sticker cuts, you have a couple of options. You can upload your complete design as an image file and leave a comment indicating how you want the cutlines, or you can use design software like Adobe Illustrator to create the cutlines yourself. If you choose to set the cutlines manually, ensure they are clearly marked and distinguishable from the rest of the design. Please also leave us a comment stating that you have made a custom cutline so we can make sure we don't miss it.
If you're confident in using Adobe Illustrator, you can create the cutlines as paths on a separate layer and apply a spot color "die cut" in CMYK 0,100,0,0. If you're using Photoshop or other programs that allow for layered files, please put any cutlines you set up on a separate layer. Please note that we require a 2mm margin between the cutline and critical areas of the design, as well as 2mm image bleed past the cutline.
If you're unsure about how to set up your file or are using a different design program, simply upload your design and provide detailed instructions during the ordering process. Our Customer and Graphics Support team will review your file and ensure it is optimized for printing, making any necessary adjustments to ensure that the cutlines are accurately applied.
