Questions about the breach

Is the problem fixed?

Yes, we have been working around the clock to ensure that this problem is solved and cannot happen again.

When did this happen?

The limited-time period was from May 4th to May 13th, 2020.

What steps are we taking to ensure this does not happen again?

As soon as the breach was exposed we took all sites down and brought in external security experts to help us investigate the attack and delete all nefarious code that was planted in our system. Before reactivation, we did a thorough oversight of our systems, again with external security experts, and also put several extra security measures in place to further increase security.

All customers that are potentially affected by the incident have been contacted through email with recommendations on how to act. The incident has been reported to the police and we have also notified the Data Protection Authority of this incident and all our payment service providers. We are cooperating with all of them to help minimize any potential damage this could lead to and minimize the risk of others to be the victim of similar attacks in the future.

Why are you telling us this?

We want to provide as much transparency as we can to our customers. Even though you might not have been affected, we find it important to give as much information as possible.

All of our customers are extremely important to us and we sincerely apologize to all of you for the inconvenience. Please rest assured that your security remains our priority.

Thank you for trusting that we have resolved this situation and it will not happen again.  If you have more questions please email us at security@stickerapp.com.
