Artist of the Month - @jeune_woof

"Creating something from A to Z and seeing it printed on a medium is what I love the most."

Confident pencil strokes, vivid colors, and clean renderings. These are some characteristics of Sébastien Pastor's aka. Jeune Woof's graphic style. Passionate about the history of graphic arts and typography, he believes "it helps understand the DNA and true meaning of things. It’s a great way to discover many reference artists who have shaped the world of graphic design."

Welcome to the creative world of @jeune_woof

Sébastien Pastor, better known as Jeune Woof to his followers, is an illustrator and designer based in Montpellier, France – the city he calls home. Since graduating in Design & Digital Strategy from ESMA in 2017, he has developed a distinctive visual language where vector precision meets hand-drawn charm.

"When I discovered graphic design, something clicked immediately; it was clearly something I had in me, and that I was keen on developing, but didn't know much about.'"

With a style blending naive art and comic book aesthetics, he reimagines iconic album covers – from Stevie Wonder and Snoop Dogg to Breakbot and Iron Maiden – in vibrant, hyper-colored remixes that bring a playful nostalgia to life. Beyond music, Jeune Woof creates illustrations for whimsical short stories, often tinged with naivety, sometimes absurdity, but always with a sense of joy and imagination.

July Artist of the Month

StickerApp: Hi Sébastien! We're honored to feature you as our July Artist of the Month. First off, tell us a little about yourself: Who is Jeune Woof, and what are some of your dreams in life?

Sébastien: Merci! The pleasure is mine! My name is Sébastien Pastor, aka Jeune Woof, and I'm an illustrator and a painter from the south of France. My biggest focus right now is to keep growing in this profession and continue working on cool projects, just like this one ;)

StickerApp: Sweet! What, or who, drives you forward as an artist and creator? What are your biggest inspiration/s?

Sébastien: Essentially painters and illustrators, but my short list is: Di Rosa, Combas, Dubout, So Me of Ed Banger, Villemot, and Savignac.

StickerApp: Great! What is your number 1 advice for those starting their creative journey?

Sébastien: Keep your eyes wide open so you don't miss anything. "Anything" as in opportunities and openings. And don't forget to enjoy both yourself and the process.

StickerApp: How would you define your style, and what are your favorite technique/s?

Sébastien: My art style is naive and juvenile, simple and colorful. I specialize in illustration and vector-based designs, but I recently also turned to acrylic painting, which I very much enjoy.

StickerApp: Why do you choose StickerApp as your sticker partner in crime?

Sébastien: Because you guys make the best stickers in town ;) Creating something from A to Z and seeing it printed on a medium is what I love the most, and stickers are no exception.

StickerApp: How do you use stickers for your business/personal brand?

Sébastien: Haha, I try to stick them everywhere! Inside, outside, on things, in things. I also give them away whenever I can.

StickerApp: What are your goals for the future?

Sébastien: Keep moving forward as an illustrator and continue building my business. Also, explore the crazy world of painting more and more.

Thanks for the chat, Sébastien. To keep up with Sébastien, head over to his Instagram, @jeune_woof.
