This article specifies the maximum and minimum size limits for sticker sheets and individual stickers, along with production tolerances that may affect cutting accuracy, spacing, and final output. These standards help ensure predictable and consistent results across all sticker sheet orders.


Limits & Production Tolerances

Sticker sheet production follows defined size limits and mechanical tolerances. Understanding these parameters is important when preparing layouts, choosing sticker sizes, and arranging cutlines to ensure accurate cutting and final output quality.

Maximum Sheet Size

Sticker sheets can be produced in any custom size up to:

  • 10.8”/27 cm on one side, and however long the roll is, for our special materials.

  • 31”/80 cm on one side, and however long the roll is, for glow in the dark.

  • 47”/120 cm on one side, and however long the roll is, for our regular white vinyl.

This is the absolute maximum working area available for sheet printing and cutting.

Minimum Sheet Size

There is no strict minimum sheet size requirement, but the sheet must be large enough to support:

  • At least one sticker of minimum 1” × 1”

  • Required spacing: 0.075”/2 mm to edges

  • Required bleed: 0.075”/2 mm

Minimum Sticker Size

Each individual sticker placed on a sheet must meet the minimum cutting requirement:

  • 0.23"/6 mm minimum dimension

Small text, thin lines, or extremely sharp angles may not cut cleanly, even if the overall size meets the minimum.

Spacing Requirements

Sticker sheets must follow standard spacing tolerances:

  • Between stickers: 0.075”/2 mm

  • From stickers to sheet edge: 0.075”/2 mm

  • Bleed around each sticker: 0.075”/2 mm

These spacing standards ensure that cutting tolerances do not cause stickers to overlap or touch.

Production Tolerances

Due to the nature of digital cutting, slight variations may occur.

Sheet Alignment Tolerance

  • Minor shifts may occur during printing and cutting

  • Adequate bleed compensates for alignment variation

Material Expansion/Contraction

Some materials (especially paper-based or metallic finishes) may experience slight dimensional changes under:

  • Humidity

  • Temperature

  • Pressure during cutting

This is accounted for within the required bleed and spacing measurements.

Sticker Density Considerations

Sticker sheets with very high sticker density (many small stickers tightly arranged) may require attention to:

  • Additional spacing

  • Simplified shapes

  • Reduced fine details

  • Avoiding shared or nested cutlines

High-density sheets increase the likelihood of cutline stress or misalignment if spacing minima are not met.

Shape Complexity Constraints

Regardless of sticker or sheet size, certain shape characteristics may exceed cutting precision:

  • Extremely thin internal lines

  • Highly intricate patterns with many points

  • Narrow gaps between parallel cut paths

  • Corners sharper than 30°

For best results, slightly rounded corners are recommended.

File Size Considerations

While not a physical size constraint, very large file dimensions or high-resolution artworks may impact upload or processing times.

Recommended practical limits:

  • File size under 100 MB

  • Vector-based files, especially for large sheets
