How is the brushed aluminum effect achieved on stickers?

The brushed aluminum material is reflective with characteristic lines on top of it, giving it the "brushed" metal effect. It is a great choice if you want to give your stickers a metallic look. We can print brushed aluminum effect on top of any CMYK color, just keep in mind that it becomes less visible on darker colors. We can print the effect on top of the entire sticker or only the selected parts. Leave us a comment letting us know how you want your stickers to look and we will help you out!

Yes, our brushed aluminum material is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Brushed aluminum material is water- and weather-proof and if you combine it with the glossy laminate, it is also resistant to UV radiation, giving it an outdoor life of about 2-4 years.

Are brushed aluminum stickers waterproof and resistant to fading?

Our brushed aluminum stickers are water-, weather- and, with a glossy laminate, also UV-proof. They are resistant to light scratches and will work perfectly on a majority of smooth, dry and clean surfaces. Glossy brushed aluminum stickers stickers should survive up to 2-4 years outdoors before they begin to fade and it's even longer indoors, depending on the conditions that the stickers are exposed to.

Can brushed aluminum stickers be cut into custom shapes and sizes?

Yes, our brushed aluminum stickers can be cut into almost any custom shape with rounded edges. The maximum size for brushed aluminum stickers is 47" (27cm) on one side, so there is a wide variety of shape and size possibilities.
